Client & Partner Portal — Privacy and Acceptable Use
Starter notice for site-owner review, not legal advice. Replace with a policy reviewed for the jurisdictions where SPIDER Publishing operates before opening registration publicly.
Purpose
The portal is for business communications, contracts, agreements, service requests, permissions, quotations, invoice queries and related document exchange. It is not an academic article-submission or peer-review system.
Information processed
The portal may store account details, organization and contact information, request descriptions, messages, uploaded documents, document versions, timestamps, audit events and electronic-signature envelope identifiers.
Confidentiality and access
Users should only upload files they are authorized to share. Access is intended to be limited to the account owner and authorized SPIDER Publishing staff. Do not send passwords or payment-card details through request messages.
Retention and deletion
SPIDER Publishing should establish and publish retention, export, correction and deletion procedures appropriate to contractual obligations and applicable law. Backups may retain data for a limited period.
Electronic signatures
Where enabled, signing is handled by the configured electronic-signature provider under its own terms and privacy policy. Review the provider's recipient invitation before signing.
Contact
For questions about a portal account or personal information, contact SPIDER Publishing through the website's published contact details.
